Fayetteville VA Medical Center

Major design build construction to upgrade the chilled water system of the campus medical facility. This project included redesign, replacement, and additions to the water utility infrastructure and equipment that provided an increased energy savings. All Infectious Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) requirements were performed when working in the operating room and other critical areas.

DHS/FEMA Operations Center

This design build project was developed as an active crisis management center for the Department of Homeland Security. Our collaborative design/development created a benchmark floorplan that increased and improved function and communication for the client.

DHS/FEMA Operations Center

A fast-track project that required extensive life safety, electrical and finishes to accommodate the FEMA requirements to move new clients into the office structure in less than 90 days. The collaborative effort between subcontractors and the activity enabled Syncon to deliver the building eight days ahead of schedule.

NAS Oceana Data and Communications

The Design-Build project improved the Data and Communications Function for a critical node within a high profile Navy Command. A high level of coordination and stand downs due to unscheduled command mission requirements and events challenged the project. SYNCON's leadership and field staff were able to navigate the scheduling obstacles and complete the project on time and with in the original budget.

NOSC Facility

The complexity of work was very high. The collaborative design-build projoect was a renovation of a secure space that included sound rated walls and doors and resulted in a successful sound rating accreditation.

NAS Oceana Building 536

This is a Design-Build Project in support of the Navy Gateway Inns and Suites (NGIS) mission to provide hotel grade accommodations for active duty military personnel. During the design phase, Syncon and our Designer of Record, Waller Todd & Sadler worked in collaboration with the government and client to ensure the requirements of the RFP were properly captured for the end product.

NAS Oceana Air Field Fire Station

This design-build project was performed on an active fire station that had to remain operational and supports the Emergency Crash Response Unit for the NAS Oceana Air Field.
